RE the red bulbs; we get regular bulbs & spray paint them ourselves, go to Walmart & get Rust-Oleum Engine Enamel red paint, good to 500 degrees heat -- works great! there's also a Bar-b-que paint if you can find it.

I still haven't figured out why anyone would want to spray paint their engine red, but -- whatever!

Of course now the problem is finding "regular bulbs"!

Harbour Freight has some nice cheap solid rubber tires that work good on tractors; that's what we used on ours, Jim made flip over axles out of wood, we flip them one way to move the tractor & when we get it centered in the new spot we flip them back to lower it into place.

Can you post a pic when ever you get a chance of the way your tires are done?? I would appreciate it!!
 
Barred babies make sure you get the heat resistant paint any other will crack and the flake pieces are bad for birds

The Rustoleum engine paint is good up to 500 degrees. Be sure & let it dry thoroughly before using it. We usually spray 2-3 bulbs at a time so we always have a spare.

I'll get out today & take some pics of the wheels on our tractor & get Jim to describe how he made them.

(lol, I told Jim I only wanted "three little hens" for fun & eggs. Now look where we are:
12 in the laying flock plus Eagle my wheaton Ameracauna roo, five Blue Orpington "teenagers", 3 Black Copper Marans, 1 Barred Rock & 1 Exchequer Leghorn 6 week old chicks, and 4 peacocks!)
