Hey Mike, I'm close but chances are I won't be around. I still spending quite a bit of time with hubby at his apartment in Texas getting everything put in place.

Also, next week I will be making a trip to pick up five adult Sebastopol geese that were GIVEN to me.

These geese were bought as goslings directly from Dave Holderread's "show quality" lines. I am thrilled to be getting these geese. The five consists of two pairs and one extra male.

WOW -- lucky you!!

Kuntrygirl your keets are gorgeous - congrats on ALL of your babies! & I agree w/you about the heat, bet we're going to have another scorcher this year. I run out early in the morning & late in the evening & in between I'm "hibernating" inside under the AC!!

I let my main laying flock out to free range this evening & they had such a nice time -- I took pics that I'll try & get downloaded & posted tomorrow.

My Wellie eggs are SO beautiful-- I hang over the 'bator & wish they would hurry up & hatch!!!! one more week to go.....

Had to share a pic of Eagle & his ladies - let my main flock out to forage yesterday evening. It was so peaceful & nice just sitting there watching them (and probably where I picked up the poison ivy too). I caught this neat shot of him crowing-

Hope everybody has a nice Memorial Day. We fly the American flag all year round, we put it at half staff this morning & will raise it at noon. My husband is a Vietnam vet & my Dad a Korean vet. Thanks to all that served & remembering those who gave their lives for us today.

That looks like a proud rooster!! I like my roosters, all of them. Unfortunately, I only need 2 and I have 10. As soon as my smashed finger heals, its stew time!

It's been a while since I've been able to read up on everyones posts. I've been getting the site ready for my coop!

I'm so excited! Just got to move a few more plants. Then I get to go to Lowe's and get my supplies.

Anyway, just wanted to drop in and say hi.

Don't know what I was thinking. I completely forgot to ask the question that I wanted to.

Anyway, the site where I want to put my coop has alot of poison ivy, any idea how to get rid of this before I build my coop. I'm highly allergic to the stuff and I would rather not have to mess with it everyday when I go to be with my chickens.

My mom use to use roundup, but it always came back.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
