That's why I harrass y'all lmbo . Yea but I get alot of crap for it too but o well your right I need to be happy and my chickies and quails do that lol speaking of quail I checked my incubating eggs and looks like 4 are hookers and 14 are doing very well so hoping I get some more to hatch around the 15 yay

On happier note my baby quail are about 5 days old and already getting big bird feathers yay!!

However, I believe that God put me with this family to learn some very valuable lessons. One of these lessons is to learn how to forgive those among me who obviously didn't come from the same planet that I came from, and further doesn't speak the same language. My family drives me bonkers most of the time. That's why I enjoy my chickens and geese so much.

I totally get u but they were normal ounce apon a time but they've all lost there very brains lol people who should be forgiving because they've been forgiven aren't forgiving those that need to be forgiving is crazy I mean my Mawmaw kept these people on and off her whole life threw thick and thin and now they wanna talk crap about her not deserving to see them it's bs total bs

Hey, how is the duck pen coming along? Did ya'll work on it any today?

Progress on the duck pen will have to wait until next weekend. I have too much to do right now! Testing and getting in shape for the new job, still working at the old job, keeping up with the house and animals

Thank God we don't have children yet!

And I wish the soup was from our processed birds. All mine are barely big enough to make a decent size chicken nugget right now! That is ok though. Next year I will be able to make this soup using nothing but homegrown produce

I agree with the $15.00 for a laying hen. People are taken back by this price. They really DO expect something for nothing and don't realize what we've put into it. I feel that before I go giving chickens away I'll eat the darn thing.
 
Looks like there are a few people who have not checked in for a few days. I hope that everyone is ok. Please check in and let us know that you are doing ok. I would hate to put you on the La-yers MOST WANTED LIST.

Im the most layed back, drama free person in my family. I choose to try my best to keep my household for me and my wife and daughter that way.
But some how I get sucked in to the rest of my families drama. Just keep your head up thats all we can do.

Oh shoot forgot to take pick of feed trof, nothing fancy but I will. I got a theary that maybe I can cut back on starter/grower feed from less waste than using those mason jar feeders. They scater the feed all over the coop floor. IDK but worth a try.
