"Louisiana "La-yers" Peeps"

What agency is she with?

Department of Agriculture- Animal Diseases

Okay, got her. She's passing along the info to the director who sent the guys out this morning. Mentioned monitoring the goat and the dreaded quarantine word. Its got to be passed through feces or plant poisoning. The raised pen isnt sick and none of the turkeys in the ground run are sick, and neither have access to yard plants or the feces of the free range animals. I can rule out airborne and even contact since the turkeys in the run and the free range animals are only separated by chicken wire. I put food out in clean dishes, so the food isnt on the ground, but they forage also. Is there something I can maybe spray the yard with that is safe for the animals?

Well my incubator is plugged in and working well. Anyone who comes over will see my big incubator in front of them. I can't wait to get my eggs!

Department of Agriculture is who was here this morning.

Yea, she knew about it but was going to connect you to someone about the goat and him being sick.

This morning I fed my 8 week old sebrights and silkies. The sebrights weren't acting scared of me so I reached in and grabbed a hen. A young rooster charged up and attacked my hand. Then he puffed his little chest out and started to crow! At least he was trying to crow. They are fully feathered now and are really beautiful. Anyone wanting a Sebright rooster I have a few extra.
