I don't know much about quail behavior so I'm not sure. I have put day old and week old chicks and ducks together and they do ok. You may want to keep a constant eye on them for the first hour and periodically after that.

What do you all do with your quail? Just keep them as pets or do you process them?

In the 2nd pic, I see 3 roos, 1 hen and I can't tell about the other one. The head is not in the pic. Anyone else wanna guess?

Except the one that you can't see it's head looks like their all roos and 1 pullet!!

Planning on eating them or if lay eggs they are saved till they stop lol

Be careful putting a day old with week olds. You might be ok as long as they are coturnix. Just watch them awhile

I saw 3 roos 1 pullet and 1 fuzzy butt

Good Morning to you too!! And yes be careful of this person. Sounds like she's a few french fries short of a happy meal!!

Yeah,Quackers and no cheeze.....

Do y'all think if I put a week-old quail with a day old quail it would be ok because I don't think more than one is goin to hatch and he is crien

U could TRY it,but my experience the olders always pick on the lil ones and kill em.Or the lil one will try to get under them for comfort and get sqished or smothered.Don't give up on the quail.I have had quail hatch 3 days later.Leave em in a couple extra days....
