I can't wait!!! And they are addicting. Especially when the new born babies arrive and your ewes are so proud to be parents. !!!!!!!

I loved our sheep more than any of the poultry we had. They are so easy to handle and maintain and have the sweetest personalities. I've gotta find me somemore but can't find any katahdins locally.

I refuse to believe that I had more muscovy ducklings that hatched last night.

I am saying to myself, "That is not what I saw".........."That is not what I saw." "I was dreaming." "I was dreaming."

I have found a ton of breeders around here while I was searching. Most of them are high quality show/breeder animals though, so they come at a premium price! I would eventually like to get some, but I figured I should start small. Everything I have read has me thinking the sheep will be a GREAT addition to our little farm. They seem so easy to keep. I just can't come up with a single reason not to have one if you have the space for them. They seem to be so self sufficient. Just give them a little shelter, clean water, and plenty of grass to eat! I will post some picks of the new additions tomorrow. I feel like it Christmas lol
