Can you feed him tonight or give him something? Grits, eggs, yogurt? anything? Poor guy.

I can try, a few things I've already tried he didn't even think about eating!! I'll go make hime some grits!!

Did you open his mouth and put his down in his mouth and try to close it slowly? He won't eat on his own. You wil have to put it in his mouth.

Aw man. Poor guy. Well, the meds will work on him and he will be a little better in the morning. All you can do now is just check on him throughout the night and make sure that he is comfortable and adminster the meds again whenever the next dosage is.

When my tom had respiratory problems, he didn't have the breathing that your rooster is having now. He really didn't have any breathing problems. Just crusty eyes, bad breath and rattling in his chest.

I hope so. Will have to go get a few things for him in the am. Mainly syringes!! Wal-Mart only had the 1/2 cc ones and the needle is to small for the medicine. It's too think!!

Well, I know you won't be able to rest but try to get some rest tonight. He's on meds now and they are in his system. He will be ok. I'm sending healing vibes your way.
