You think I should keep him inside too??

I would keep him in for a few days and do as whiskey bay suggested and keep giving meds.

Missie, that is awesome! Glad to hear he's doing somewhat better. It's a bummer coming home from vacation to find a sick animal. I'll have to remember the antibiotics for a quick fix.

Terri, Enjoy your "staycation"! You deserve and NEED a little break. My "staycation" is coming to a screeching halt. School starts the 15th but I have 8 inservice days prior to the start of school. It's been nice to be off for a little while. Now, back to the "real world"!

The hatch has started. I took a quick glimpse in the hatch tray and I have some brown leghorns hatching and some OEGB's hatching but it was only a quick glimpse so there could be more. There is cheeping coming like crazy from the incubator and its driving me crazy. They really weren't due to hatch until tomorrow morning but for some reason they always start about half a day early for me. 50 eggs are in there, so its a pretty big hatch. The incubator was inside the house and I had no power outages and the temp was constant. This should be a really good hatch. I am working tomorrow so it will be killing me at work knowing that I've got biddies hatching. Pics to follow soon.
