You know I think its so cool I have been noticing more and more people starting to raise chickens in my area.

I get at least 2 people who stop by or call me each week wanting chickens to raise.

You are right about the economy Twiley. The only bad thing about it, is that "non chicken owners" will begin targeting chicken owners like all of us and stealing our animals (for food) like a thief in the night. So for anyone, who isn't prepared (recording cameras, locked fences and coops) be cautious and make sure that your animals are locked up. It's gonna get worst before it gets better. All of us work too hard to raise and keep our animals and buy feed, to have criminals destroy what we have.

Keep your eyes and ears open on your property.

You know it's funny you should say this. I'm have security cameras being installed at the end of the month!! I'll have a DVR recording everything and I will also be able to go on my phone and see what's happening!! I can't wait!!

Thanks!! I have 8 or 9 roosters. Can't keep them all but I am keeping 3!! And that doesn't include my GCM roo I'm keeping!!
