You might try pear butter with the rest of the pears -- do a search for apple butter & make it the same way -- I've done it in the past & it was pretty good!! I have to put up plum jam tomorrow -- had the pulp frozen 2 months now, just haven't had time to get to it. Hope I get some muscadines soon for jelly!!

We had to catch the two junior roos to put them in the main coop this evening--they forgot where they were supposed to go & went back to their old pen (the grow-out pen). What's another sweat-fest, right? I will NOT complain come November & cold weather!!!!!

I will. I'd like to end up raising chicken, quail, rabbits, for sure and maybe once we get our pond (if we ever get it) we'll have some duck too!!
