Took a few pics late this evening. Not the best light, and my birds are not very cooperative, but here goes!
First is my current roo. Second is a young cockerel, too coppery though. Third I hope is an up and coming cockerel for breeding. Fourth and fifth are young splash pullets, and Sixth is a young pullet.

Oh, and here is a fun one. I am posting 2 pullets. I will also post a rooster. This is daddy...can you guess what each one's mom is?

Those are some really nice BLRW I hatched three two weeks ago lol hoping there all hens lol but with my luck they will all be Roos

Yeah ya right Missi,.. it's just too pretty to not be outside,.. and great working weather too.

Brian and his Dad cut up a giant oak for firewood today,.. and ya know how chainsaws are,.. half the time is spent using them and half the time is spent fixing them

but we have a nice pile of firewood ready,..
Olivia and I went to the St Tammany Parish Fair,.. ( I took it real easy) and checked out the poultry winners.

Met some nice folks and saw some pretty birds and saw the peewee
goat showmanship class,. too cute for words,..

Olivia ate junk food,... road the biggest rides there,... and threw up IN THE TRUCK on the way home,.

had to pull over on I-12,... thought for sure we were gonna get hit

and get this,.. after all that she,... was upset that she missed trying the deep fried Oreo!
