Missi, I have so many "issues" there was no way that I could have fallen asleep. It felt like I was in a casket. I was scared I would get stuck in there. This was eons ago. No Open Air at the time. I gave that nurse a heck of a ride. She earned her pay on that day. I think they had to call 2 other people in to try to hold me still.

You sound just like my MIL... She flipped on them so bad!! If you ever need another one get an open one!!

I believe I may have an black orp roo I might let go.I will check tomorrow.Cant remember if I have 2 or 3.I have Bernie which is my English fella who is staying here and I know I have Bennie.I will look and see if I still have one of the younger americans or possibly one of the younger English splits.

Oh, that would be great if you do have one, just let me know! Bernie is beautiful! I love the big fluffy Orps!

I fall asleep verry easily at times...lol.. I've fallen asleep getting a tattoo done on my back one time.The guy wasn't used to very many chicks who could handle a little pain...let alone one who could handle a LOT.I literally fell asleep HARD (like total drooling and all) while he was working on my back piece.He was originally just going to outline,then color later.But he said since I obviously could handle it,he just finished it in one trip....lol... Kinda embarrassed though waking up with drool on the side of my face...lol....I mean completely laid out on the tat table stone cold asleep.

Well,got someone coming to remove the slab tomorrow!!! Can't wait till it's gone.I know I will probly have to bring in some dirt to fill in,but it's better than concrete!..lol...Feels so good to finally be getting things accomplished!!!!Woohoo!!!

TB ...I took some pics of a black roo I have.I already got rid of all of the american Orps,but I have an English split fella I guess I could part with.I really don't need two blk roos.He's a lil rough looking right now in that stage,but look at the pics of Bernie and you'll see what he promises....I'll post in a few.

Now is a great time to plan for next Spring.

My plans next year are just to have layers for my egg business with only 1 roo per 10 -12 hens. No more than 100 baby chicks. I want 0 ducklings next year. And want to try to get about 50 - 75 broilers for the freezer. I'm trying to hold out for my pair of Alpacas next year, so I have to sacrifice in some departments.

ETA: Forgot ...... 2 hogs for the freezer.

Sounds like a plan! Once we get a place and set it up, I want to get some broilers to process too! We like to hunt and trap wild hogs...have one ready for the rotisserie for the Halloween party next weekend. Yummy!
