Hi Mike! I hope you've beaten the flu bug! I candled yesterday (day 14) and still have 6 healthy chicks. Lost 1 between day 10 and 14.

I'm using a Hovabator 1588 with auto turner, keeping my humidity between 35% and 45%, check my temp with a Brinsea Spot Check daily, so not sure what happened.
Every hatch is a learning experience for me.

Good thing I dont like cake but it does look good.

Darn right because there isn't any left, lol!!

OK PM me on when you want him & where do you want me to bring him & so on. I'm free every day this coming week except Tuesday when we got get Jim's cast cut off & Xrays & hopefully his walking cast put on, so I can travel if needed. I'd sure rather have him in a good home than in my freezer! Weekends of course, are always open.

This is the mom to the blue wheaton roo--- if you want her I can throw her into the cage too -- she is going about 2 years old now. The rest of my Ameracaunas are blacks (from B-B-S lines but naturally with my luck all the blues & splash were roos) so I don't really care to keep any wheatons. The wheaton sire was the one who attacked me & ripped a scar I still have in my leg so he's in the freezer, if you want a gumbo roo, lol.

Good morning everyone. Beautiful morning. I was up early as usual.

I sold a pair of ducks on yesterday to a very nice couple. They have 2 ponds on their property and had been looking all over for muscovys. So I was so happy that my boy and girl were going somewhere that has a pond. I was sad to see them go but found joy in knowing when they set foot on that property and see that pond, they will be so happy.

Have a good day everyone.

Congrats on the sale! If I had a pond I know I'd want some ducks on it. And geese! and swans! and catfish IN it! I need a backhoe.

I went out to the coop last night after everybody was in & wing- clipped the two who have been flying out every morning. Actually I wing clipped ALL of the black birds, because it was dark & I couldn't tell which two specifically were the culprits, so I just did all of them. So far no prison breaks this morning so guess that worked!

Have a peaceful and pleasant Sunday everybody!

LOL @ prison breaks. What a relief huh.

I hope I can get my pond dug soon. It won't be big at all but they will enjoy it.
