Has anyone ever had Minorcas? I have a hatchery quality trio that I am really pleased with. They are a bit flighty, but they are laying machines! And quite nice to look at. I'll post some pics of them later. I looked into getting some show quality ones, but they want over $100 a bird

I may just have to wait on those!

Congrats Julie! I was amazed at how fast they shipped mine - and you'll be just great with it! It really is about the most foolproof incubator I've ever used. now if my foolish peas would just get on track & start laying so I can put it to good use!!

Speaking of peas. I haven't witnessed my peas playing "Doctor & Nurse" . Are your peas playing an "office games" these days? I'm hoping for fertile pea eggs.

I checked the status of the shipping for the incubator. As of 2:02pm today, the incubator was scanned in Jackson, MS. It' on it's way here.

I am suppose to be taking a drive by the end of the month to Alabama to pick up some Good Shepard Barred Rocks. This guy also has Buff Orpingtons that he shows. If you tell me early enough I can give you his contact info so you that you can talk to him on the phone or e-mail. If you buy anything from him, I will be glad to pick them up for you when I go to get my birds. I live in Covington and will be at the thing next month but I also go to BR all the time so you could get them sooner then March 18th. I'm not sure what else he has but I know he has those two.

Chris - Matt has some of the breeds I want, but he won't have any available until later in the spring. He may, however, have a few more Barred Rocks. I sent a PM to him to confirm, but at most it would be 8 chicks. I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from him.
