Julie, did the other people still have those rams available? I have been banned from purchasing any other livestock for the year, so I had to pass on them. My hubby says something has to go before something else moves in

When you set Turkey eggs in an incubator....everything is basicly the same as with chicken eggs except lock-down is at 25 days, is that correct? Or is there something else I did not see? I'm not ready to pull the trigger on turkeys eggs yet....I'm just wondering about that.

Well, I"m not sure because in my past experiences, I have male geese that do set on eggs from time to time. I haven't seen Chuckie laying an egg, so I'll be waiting for that.

I hope that everyone survived the FLOODS on yesterday. Here are some pics that I took on yesterday.

This is a pic of what I had to drive thru yesterday in order to get home. I had to go to Kaplan from Lafayette and then go through Church Point as per the STATE POLICE. Well, let's just say when I got to this area and hit 4 more areas that looked like this, I called the STATE POLICE and gave them a GOOD CUSSING. I told them to NEVER send a person in an area that they have not gone out there and checked themselves. I told them they sent me on a suicide mission because the area that they sent me to was FLOODED and if anything happened to my truck, they would be paying the bill. They apologized. Yea right. I hung up on them. I was hotter than a firecracker.

This was a scary drive.
