i know i won't have it ready for the Covington swap but will try to sneak out for a bit to see what is being offered and get some ideas.

love reading everyone's posts...about fell out of my chair reading about the show girl phobias!! lol

Saw these on a chicken swap page. You may have to drive for them though. Don't know where they are

I finally had a minute to check the forum. Thanks, Gracie, for the suggestion! I posted on the Covington sale/swap page on FB; maybe someone who has them will be going next month.

My family and friends laughed at me when I told them that I put goose eggs under turkeys, chickens and ducks. Guess who has the last laugh.

Baby gosling hatched on yesterday. One of my turkey hens had this little buggar.

I hope the rest of the goose eggs hatch. The goose are a bunch of slackers. They can't hatch their own eggs.

Well, had 23 hatch in the past few days. Have 5 left that haven't.. Keeping my fingers crossed that they still have a chance!!

Figured since I've gathered all the eggs that I plan on hatching I let ALL the chickens out together today!! Other than the occasional fight between the roosters they all got along and seemed to enjoy getting out the mud & muck for awhile!!

Can't wait to start building the new coops. Geez, hope I never have to deal with all this again!!
