Here's another pic of a chick I posted a while back. result of breeding my buff orp roo to my white leghorns. Hens seem to be mixed like this one while Roos seem to be all white.

Yes that is a sex link cross gold gene(Buff roo) x silver gene (white Leghorn hen) the white in your case is dominant white if it were recessive the pullets would be completely Buff/red in color the roos still white.

I don't know which expo are you talking about? I think there's a monthly one in Covington & periodically Opelousas has a swap meet.
