I hope you find homes for them,Gracie! I'm still trying to give away a couple of my Basque boys. I'm really procrastinating…my husband is ready to put them in the freezer.

You'll probably have much better luck than I have. Many people are familiar with the Marans.; they usually have never heard of the Basques.

Bhazell is taking the older one... just gotta find a home for the little guy! I'm not overly concerned about rehoming them. I could always just let them free range, so it's not a rush!

Central Louisiana poultry club located in Leesville LA We are a non profit, newly established organization promoting exhibiting of purebred poultry in Central Louisiana and surrounding area. So ya we need all the help we can get so we can show off some birds and have a good ol' time talking poultry.

Website not up and running yet but soon, I'm working on it as fast as I can.

I let the zoo out on yesterday to free range in the yard and I took some pics of them.

My baby that was born a couple months ago.

They love running over to my neighbor's yard to eat grass. :/

The local watermelon man throws all of the watermelon that are not sold at the end of the day in my chicken yard.

When you see 1, you see them all.

My surprise package that was hatched in a bush in front of my house.

Terri, they are starting to feather out great!!! I can't wait to see the fanning of their tails on next year.

This is Prince my white peacock. He has been eyeing the pecan tree when it comes time to roost.
