Louisiana Thread 2016

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? EVERYTIME I BOIL MY FRESH EGGS,THEY ARE VERY HARD TO PEEL,AND I LOSE MOST OF THE WHITE CAUSE THE SHELL STAYS STUCK TO THE WHITE....ANY SUGGESTIONS?
I heard of adding a little vinegar to the water and it supposed to help with pilling them.

Does anyone on this thread know what the regulations are in Lacombe? We are looking at buying a house there off of Fish Hatchery road.

Hi, don't know if this thread is still in use, however I am trying to get out the word to as many chicken lovers as I can. I am in New Orleans and hatch a clutch of chicks May 29-June 2, As they mature I appear to have more than my share of cockerels. Right now it appears I have at least 4 French Black Copper Marans cockerels, and 1 French Blue copper Marans cockerel, all are full blooded heritage birds and will make a beautiful way to protect a flock, especially for someone who is interested in starting a new flock. I am willing to travel to meet someone who can give a good home to one of these lovely cockerels. They have not been handled much at all, so they should not become human aggressive once they start to mature. They are a docile breed, but make good providers and protectors of their flock. Please let me know if there is anyone out there who may be interested as I can not keep them in New Orleans. Wish I could! Thank you.
