Does anyone have a good design for making louvers for windows? I have decided to re-direct some of the wind that comes into my chicken house, and have read where some members really like using louvers. Also, has anyone used glass/acrylic panes to let more light in?❓

The windows I'm thinking of are just static, they do not have to open and close - only to divert the wind from blowing directly into the chicken house.
Oh, OK then, most folks buy louvered vents.
What size are you needing/wanting?

I think @jthornton made a louvered vent cover.
He's a highly skilled fabricator tho....with the tools to match.

I'd think most people are using metal fixed louvered vents - like for gable-end attic ventilation. Moving louvered vents are significantly more expensive and not easily fabricated unless you have those skills. I'd guess the next most common type of vent is a simple hinged panel on the vent window, perhaps with a prop stick or limit chain/strap opposite the hinged side.
