Hi all! I'm new to raising chickens (within the last 6 months)- I LOVE IT! we have 5 (3 silkies,1 plymouth rock, and a rooster that I have no idea what breed it is..., lol) My Plymouth and one of the silkies just started laying!
I am looking to add 2 Leghorns to my family- but I don't want chicks (I'm not ready for that!)... any suggestions where I can order?

No idea about where to buy chickens but if you type your location or statein the search bar you may find other byc members near you who may be able to advise.

Good luck and welcome!

All the best

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. When you reach 20 posts definitely post on our Buy-Sell-Trade link that Yorkshire coop left with you. Also, if you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in locating some Leghorns for sale.

Glad you are enjoying your flock! They are fun and interesting little critters, we enjoy chicken tv every day.

Silkie hens tend to go to go "Broody," which means they want to sit on and hatch eggs. Since she is with a rooster, she will probably have fertile eggs.
