Thank you for the add! We live in snook tx with my fireman hubby and 3 children. We have 12 hens and 2 roosters and a chocolate lab! One of our new chickens sat on her (2)eggs and we ended up with one baby chick yesterday morning! My girls are super excited.

Glad you could join the flock! Congratulations on your new chick :celebrate I'm an incubator hatcher but have experienced my first broody this year and I have to say it's been a wonderful experience watching her raise the chicks. I sure you will enjoy it very much too.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Congratulations on the new chick. My wife and I were both raised in the great state of Texas. Raising chickens is a wonderful experience for children. Our children and granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) loved our chickens and made lap pets of the calmer and more gentle breeds.
