Hello everyone. New to your site and very worried.
I was checking my girls tonight and noticed the 2 Australorp girls had developed large hard knots on their toes, appears on all toes and it even looked like they have lost a nail. I have never seen anything like this. We have 24 girls and these are the only two affected and the only Australorps. They are about 1 1/2 years of age and sisters. These knots are hard they seem to be perching and walking with them which is why I just noticed them tonight when they joined the others on a pallet in the pen and I heard what sounded like high heels on a wood floor. Please tell me what I can do to help them and if I need to be concerned about the others. It was dark and I didn’t have my phone but I can send pictures in the morning.
