Love my new heating plate!

The more watts on a plate will help to get it to heat up faster and be consistent. 13 watts seems too low to function for what it was made for. Just a thought.

I will be getting 10 chicks this week.
I now need to find something ASAP to work and be prepared for them.

It depends on the ambient temperature in your house - ow wherever you have them.
10 chicks will keep each other warm to a point.
What is the temperature where the brooder is?
