I was a part of this group for many years 15 years ago. This is so much better than facebook!! To make it easy I am going to cut and past the question ideas:
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
have had them about 15 years
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
(3) What breeds do you have?
have about 150 chickens- EEs, Brahmas, Duccles, whitings, some creasted and random

pheasants-several kinds including ringnecks, melanastics, reds and a couple rare ones we are waiting to see colors on (pheasants are new to me
Quail
Ducks- ancona, runners, cayugas, khakis, and moscovys
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
remodeling houses
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am a midwife, have 8 kids, horses, sheep, cows and thinking of moving to another country
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I had a search on my peacock coloring and found my answer and really want to post on that thread. I am so glad you didnt shut this site down.
