Love or insanity?

Is it love or insanity when you're outside, in a thunderstorm, pouring rain, lying in the mud, coaxing pullets out from under the coop so you can lock up for the night?
Not sure which.

It's their second night in the coop with the big gals - they seem determined to take up housekeeping under the coop.

I thought I was going to have to do that today when we were under a tornado watch and my 8 week olds were in the woods foraging. I tried to get them back in the coop/run earlier, but they hid from me. Later, when it got really bad outside, I went prepared to 'capture' them any way I could, but by that time they came running when I called them. They were scared of the thunder.

Oh, I have to say it's the former!!

If your hubby has seen you doing this just be sure to be extra sweet to him so as not to cause any kind of misconstrued idea of any misguided affection.
