My black and white ducks Pippa and Louie are Swedish (they might be a mix though)
As for the pool, first they started with trying to push themselves up with their chest. once they grew a little they just had to get a good push with their chest going forward
However I bought a larger taller pool, without thinking hmm how are they going to get into this pool? I put a bag of sand on the outside and a large brick on the inside, they can however get in the pool without that if they really try, but they learned the sandbag is the easiest way. I did have some other bricks and around the pool
when I put in fresh water they actually get so excited and they jump in and out without the bag of sand.
It takes my Swedish ducks a little more effort to get in and out than my Rouen and Rnner
