Love this waterer for our chicks!

We tried this nipple waterer with our 11 day old chicks and they took right to it! We used the red nipple and they did great! So happy! No more dirty waterer that needs to be changed several times a day! This will also make the transition to the outside coop so much easier as my big girls use a nipple waterer out there.

Does it drip a lot?

I have a very similar one from Strombergs. It either leaks a lot or the chicks played with the nipple/were messy drippy drinkers.

Yes, it kept the water cleaner, but the shavings in the brooder were ALWAYS wet under it.

This is the one we use! We love it and it can be heated for the winter. Can also change out the nipples to use the cups (or use both in the summer like we do)
