Hello,

I've wanted chickens for YEARS, and have finally got my little ones in a brooder in the basement right now, and my husband is finishing up building the coop for them. We live on Vancouver Island, Canada.

We have 3 Rhode Island Reds, and 3 Barred Rocks. They are just starting to show some growth of tail feathers... still very tiny yet, and the wing fleathers are coming in well.

Looking forward to learning everything I need to know from BackYard Chickens!

Cheers
