[Bush Chickens]

Hello! Looooooongg time no chat on this thread for those who don't already know...2 of Stormys chicks hatched 2 days early yesterday!!!!! I named the little black one Mickey Mouse,but I haven't named the brown EE yet. And the other eggs haven't pipped,and I'm worried!today the little brown one wobbled out of the nest,so stormy rolled the remaining eggs onto the floor to be with the chick! We got that all fixed,but I'm worried for the eggs!

My chickens are all doing great! Except for one... My hen Ruby isn't doing so great... She keeps laying eggs with no shell, just the thin skin stuff on the inside of the shell. It took her all day to lay on yesterday, and now she's struggling to lay one today. She is a very old hen, so I think she might just be reaching that point where she stops laying, but I'm not sure. She just turned 5 years old last month. I really hope this isn't the end for her... She's such a sweet hen...
