Lovin my Chickens

I am a single mom of 5 but only 3 at still at home. We love animals and I have always wanted to have some chickens. I find that they are relaxing for me.
I had chickens since I was young - I am 44 yrs young. We have 6 hens and 2 ducks. I have Rhode island reds. We also have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 3 kittens. I am trying to learn as much as possible to make my chickens love their life. I started as soon as I got them loving on them and feeling them from my hand. They love peas! Now a few weeks later they jump in my lap to sit with me. I Love it! I found this site from Pinterest. I love your website it has helped me so much. thanks Christy
