Hello all!
We have 11 new babies they will be 3 weeks old tomorrow. 5 e.e, 3 buffs & 3 black autrolorps.. 1 was a bonus chick. Hoping they are all pullets! We live in Blythe, ca. This will be my families first flock! Although I did grow up with chickens... we live in city limits, so we can't have roosterz..
I just love this site have learned so much and usualy able to find all the answers to my questions!!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. You have a nice mixed flock. Black Australorps are my favorite standard breed. I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds), and they are extremely hardy, calm and gentle (my children and granddaughter made lap pets of them), and excellent layers of large, brown eggs.
