Well as y’all just found out they aren’t real fond of anything different but she’ll learn by watching an following the lead of your other one just give her time.

Things are doing ok but I noticed none of the birds ducks and silkies stopped eating their crumbles. Nothing since we lost the one pekin. Strange. I just keep dumping it out. Wasting food. Been about over 2 weeks now. Any ideas what to do?

Do the have a lot of property to forage on? Did you change feed? Are you offering treats? If you are stop them until they are eating again.

They have our backyard which is a decent size and they’re living on treats because they won’t eat the food. We’ve stepped up the treats to compensate. Tomatoes, kale, can corn, dry cat food. I also throw out scratch all over the yard.

Well if you had your choice between candy and real food which would you choose. They can get picky real fast. So tough love is needed. Don’t give them any treats for a couple days it won’t kill them. But they need to eat their feed. Just like we’re suppose to clean our plates before dessert.

Well. The new girl, Daisy Duck has definitely gained weight in a week. Lol. Looks great.
