Yes, hens that just start laying will lay small eggs. As time goes on they get bigger.

Welcome to BYC from Jillian and Brandon in Louisiana! I am new and have just purchased my chicks that are Easter Eggers. I love the colored eggs and typically, the ones that lay colored eggs are pretty easy to work with. Good luck with your chickens
