That's what I call them 
Here's my questionnaire:
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Started off with six chicks from Rural King, three RIRs and 3 Barred Rocks. That was about 2 years ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Thirteen hens. Two RIRs of the original six birds (had a bad predator problem for a while).
(3) What breeds do you have? 2 RIR, 2 Buff Orp, 1 Sapphire Gem, 1 EE, 7 Cream Legbar. And one goose.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I had no idea how entertaining they'd be! I love just watching them forage around the yard, scratch for bugs, dust bathe, etc. Every day they do something that makes me laugh. Silly birdos!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Horses, dogs, papercrafting (card making)
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Three dogs, three horses, 2 goats, and Gertie the Goose. Capital projects engineer for my day job. Live on 40+ acres in rural Ohio.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
These forums are great! I always find discussions on the topics I'm interested in. I get really nervous sometimes that I'm doing something wrong, so having all this experience to possibly help me out would be awesome! TIA y'all!
