Thanks all! Lots of great ideas! Over the past 5 years I have been distancing myself from most holidays, and not really celebrating them. (For example, I absolutely hate Halloween and I haven’t celebrated it for quite some time.) Glad that even though we haven’t really been celebrating “Easter” with the bunnies and eggs for the past few years, there are things I can continue to do to create traditions for my family that will bring the focus to Christ.
I will add that the hardest obstacle seems to be family members who are more concerned with “traditions” than Jesus. It is very sad. I hope none of you have to experience that.
