Hello,

I am new to chickens. I got and incubator with just 12 or so eggs in it for my 37th birthday present. I received this precious gift about 21 days before my actual birthday. Well June 18th rolled around and my first chicken was hatched gonzolas, Shawnta, and the best was last, my rooster chickchick. I was in love. Last summer I hatch two batches of ducks and three batches of chickens. Of cource I had to grab a chick here and there from any farm store I went to. By fall I had 25 chickens and 13 ducks. BACKYARD chickens and an amazing woman I met locally has helped me through every question I've had. I discovered Seramas in October and spent 2 months looking for a breeder. Now I have 7 hens, 1 very happy rooster, 6 chicks and 22 eggs in the incubator. How did I survive life till now without chickens. I am a mother of three and married to and amazing man who indulges my new found love of chickens. We have two dogs, 2 Nigerian dwarf goats and 4 cats. By Sunday I'll have two Brahamas and a particularly beautiful black and purple hen. So excited to be here!

Here's some of my beauties.
