Hello all! My four year old duck hens have been laying regularly (once a day each) for the past two months after a 6 month break. It's been fairly normal until I noticed this today...
This soft-shell egg with a tail (as I call it):

And then I saw one of the females 'poop' this out:

Basically just some 'gel' that I believe is the albumin.
I tried to give them some oyster shell and they didn't seem to have much interest.

Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
