This was a DIY idea I had to use for vegetables and any old titbits that the Hens love. It is made from a chimney pot mesh - we use these in the UK to stop birds from nesting in the chimneys. I then used an old trampoline spring and a little old rope to suspend it..
Nice! I do pretty much the same thing. I just use some mesh with a rope drawstring. I live where there are lots of small business veggie shops, so I go round and pick up boxes of lettuce and veggie trimmings. They love it! This particular batch of veggies had a lot of chicory, and they are too thin to stay in the mesh hence the mess all around. Normally the lettuce stays in nicely so they can peck at it.
