Want to share a bit of info about lowering the humidity in my diy incubator. I bought some of the silica gel packs from Amazon, the smallest order was more than I needed but it was what it was. Anyway, I started with one packet inside the incubator and gave it 24 hrs, it worked. Dropped the humidity by 7 points and put the humidity exactly where I needed it. So you have an idea, I live in the Piedmont region of NC, 30 miles from the ocean so humidity is an issue here, inside and outside. If you are interested in the silica packets, I recommend research about them on the internet and then select where to buy them.
