I've a flock of 2 RIRs and 2 random SPCA saves. All lay an egg a day, but the one at the bottom of the pecking order has gone missing. She's not laid in the coop for a few weeks and the older girls pick on her a bit. I suspect she is hiding and sitting on eggs somewhere in a next. Any tips on how to find her? I've tried rattling feed, searching with the kids through long grass and in trees, she's a good hider if she's MIA or perhaps dead. Would assume if something had had her there would be a mess of feathers and blood... any tips? Input?

Poor little ******

Could've been a hawk, but there are usually a few feathers scattered. Hopefully she's just brooding!

Reckon the devil took her as a sacrifice? Or my neighbor (devil worshiper s)?

My money's on brooding. I'm thinking she'll show up in 3 weeks with babies
