Lady Mary was in there, too, but she's one of our 2-year-olds...in fact, she was still laying when I lifted the top to see Edith's egg. (Anna was in the doorway waiting for Lady Mary to get out of her favorite box so she could lay as well...so funny.) Edith did do a bit of singing. My husband has decided we're not keeping any roos since we don't want chicks. I was debating on calling him Thomas because he's shifty and hard to catch, but Mary's eggs are the most commonly fertilized, so I debated on Matthew, too. HA!
