I'm assuming this is a rooster??? You may do better to post on your state thread where local people will see it. Also Backyard chickens has a Buy,sell,trade forum with a section for "animals available for free rehoming."

Howdy! Many of us have been in the same boat. Too many roosters and not enough homes for them. I've used craigslists to keep my numbers low. But it is much more difficult to give away a pet rooster that you have loved so much. I wish you luck in finding a good home for him.
