I have two hens Betty and Lucy. About two days ago I noticed Lucy losing feathers in this area of her neck. I checked her skin no redness or signs of mites. And her skin near her vent is clear and tons of feathers.
Could it be molting or is the other hen Betty picking her? What can I do? Add meal worms to their coop more often?
They live in this coop and get free time for on average an hour a day because of near by hawks.
