Here's Ms. Lucy showing off her neon pink footies. She's modeling her wonderful new shoes from Indoorducks. She had no problem walking in them and actually started running in them almost immediately. LOL

Thank you Nettie & Joe. Lucy's bumblefoot is almost healed but we're going to leave the shoes on her for a while to avoid any problems.

Now here's Ms. Lucy! All she needs is a bonnet and a dress and she's all ready for Easter. LOL

Ooohhh, that pink is soooo pretty!! Now I gotta have some. I want pink and neon green. All of mine are blue, now I must have these other cool colors! Nettie, I want my Silkie shoes in pink (neon green second choice).

oh that last picture is too precious! Thanks for posting!!! We're glad she's doing better! We kept ming mei's shoes on for months afterwards, just in case (Her bumble was really bad). After she's healed, you can try putting preparation H (the cream version with the pain relief is okay) on her feet. I've heard this helps their feet toughen up and stay well. Ming Mei is currently getting Prep H and shoes nightly

Lucy says she stylin'. LOL It didn't bother her one bit that we put the shoes on her. She's been wearing vet wrap for so long that I think she's used to wearing something on her feet anyway.

I told her that the other ducks in the pen are going to be jealous of her. Especially her sisters. We may just have to put some on them or they may be fighting for her shoes. Thank goodness she has 4 other pairs to share with her two sisters. LOL
