I’m glad I’m not the only one that loves growing luffas. Over the years I got few and small. Learned plant EARLY for sponges. You have some Lovely plants!! Here are mine a couple months ago. They have since dried and are 2’ to 2 1/2’ sponges waiting for soap making.

Well I said here are mine but the picture won’t load. Terrible service First year to get a lot and huge! But tons of bees this year. Guess everyone’s right. Pollination is key especially with these.

Aww, I would love to see yours! This is my first crack at it. Next year, I'll keep it out of the tree and guess I'll have to hand pollinate, since it seems my bees are prejudiced to prettier flowers.
