Hi if anyone is using lumia 8 or 16 incubator id need some advice. I have used this for a while with no problem, unlit my last few hatches are going bad. I thought it was the eggs, but im putting my hand on the lid o the incubator and it is going colder than when i had put it on and does not seem to be staying at the right temp even tho the reading is at 37.5. Anyone any idea on how to fix it as iv tryed putting another incubator therometer and it saying it is not at the required temp.

Rarely is an incubator correct.

If you had a Govee or similar thermometer/hygrometer, you could run it without eggs for a day and it would graph it for you on your phone. The temp will usually bounce within a half a degree either way, but average would be 37.5. If the incubator is saying the temp is 37.5, but your thermometer is saying it's 36, then you'd have to up the temp on your incubator by 1.5C. I have three incubators running and none are set to 37.5 (99.5F)

If it's not steady, perhaps insulating the incubator with a blanket, towel, etc., would help.
