Lump in Newly (struggled) Hatched Chick

HELP!
Chick pipped and zipped 6am. Coming home at 5pm, he's still in the egg. I had to help him get out. I noticed he has a bulge on the left side of his neck and he stays on the side of his body.

Will it get better or does he have a tumor and i should end his suffering?

Is the chick responsive, up, moving, walking...?

If so, then I'd let him dry, put him the brooder, introduce to food/water and see how it goes.
