lump on breast not going away

My blue cochin hen has a lump on her breast that is large & soft, but it isn't going away. I've read the information submitted through the forum thus far saying it could be the crop, but shouldn't it go away? It's been there for a minimum of 3 days, since I discovered it. Any ideas or suggestions?

check in the morning and then at night. see if there is a difference. Crop will be larger at evening/night, and smaller in the morning after digestion
