Lump on chicks right shoulder

Separated 2 (26 days old) chicks from fighting and upon inspection I found this weird sac. Did not appear to be painful, no discharge or signs of infection, just there. They free range with mama hen and all seem quite healthy. Any thoughts? Thank you!

Likely the crop.
Is she having any problems breathing? Check the area in the morning before she eats/drinks see if the sac is still there.

Nope, put him down and he ran back to cause more trouble. They have access to grit 24 hrs, in their coop and spread on the ground so mama hen can show them. I will pay closer attention to the size of the crops in the mornings. Thank you, I was thinking/hoping it was just something I wasn't aware of since I am new. Lol

Just check in the morning, they should be sleeping all night in the dark with Mom, so it will be easy to check the crop before they have anything to eat/drink.

I wouldn’t. If it’s a crop then it will, worst case, be full in the morning. But chicks really shouldn’t do without food and water.

You can remove water and feed if you like. If she's with a broody hen, then she will be sleeping all night and not eating.
